CFC-O charities need your help

Each autumn, more than 180 locally administered Combined Federal Campaigns raise more than $250 million from federal employees to support thousands of charitable organizations. This year, the  government shutdown and furloughs have impacted critical fundraising efforts. Thousands of nonprofit organizations depend on CFC funding and are in jeopardy of having to cut programs and services to those who need it most, including affected military families.

Despite the current challenges, the Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas has been able to continue operations, and CFC-O pledges to charitable organizations continue to increase daily. This is a testament to the extreme dedication of campaign representatives at installations and units throughout the five overseas combatant commands and the generosity of the uniformed and civilian men and women serving overseas in our nation’s armed services.

During this time of legislative uncertainty, your strong support of causes and organizations that resonate with you inspires the rest of the nation. Thank you for answering our nation’s call to serve and to give in so many ways.
