Christmas market run takes place Nov. 29

The Landstuhl running association, LLG, will sponsor its 27th Christmas run Nov. 29.

There will be a 1.3-km children’s run beginning at 12:30 p.m., and the main run of 7.6 km is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sign-up will begin at 11 a.m.

The route will be made up of three 2-km loops around the Christmas market in Landstuhl. The starting point will be the Sickingensporthalle, a gym, on Kaiserstrasse 128. The finish line will be at the Christmas market.

The children’s run is for any age up to 15 years old. The main run is for participants older than 15. The fee for adults is €6 and for children €3.

All participants will receive certificates, medals and prizes. The awarding ceremony for children will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Sickingens-porthalle, and the awarding ceremony for adults will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Christmas market. Organizers want to remind runners to bring their winter clothes after the race.
