***image1***The advertising association “Kaiser in Lautern” sponsors the event “Lautern comes into blossom” 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the city of Kaiserslautern.
The local Tourist Information office, World Cup office and Garden Fair Company also participate with a stand at Altenhof. They offer brochures, information material and flyers to make people aware of leisure activities in Kaiserslautern. The World Cup office presents events regarding the Soccer World Cup in 2006. The city’s new memorial coin for FIFA World Cup 2006 and the official world cup poster will be available for sale.
A dinosaur mascot promotes the dinosaur exhibition at the garden fair.
The Tourist Information office presents the calendar of events. Officials will provide information on guided city tours, help with the search for special world cup events or give leisure tips.
Also, the Kaiserslautern Zoo Company is present with a 30-square meter petting zoo.
To put visitors into spring mood, officials pass out 1,000 colored prime roses from the city gardener shop.
