Combat Education Programs


ACSC study group
Air Command and Staff College Study Group is open to active duty, National Guard, and Reserve 04 selects or above of any component of the U.S. Armed Forces, international officers in the grade of 04, and Department of Defense civilian employees in the grade of GS-11 or above.   Seminars and study groups may start at any time.  There is no longer a worldwide calendar for ACSC seminars.  Students may enroll by contacting the education office, Bldg. 2120, Room 421, or call 480-2032.  If you are interested in participating in a study group, contact Maj. Enlisted to AFIT Program
Packages for the Air Force Institute of Technology Program must be to Air Force Department of Personnel Department of Defense  no later than Feb. 27. Individuals must have Graduate Record Examination or Graduate Management Admission Test scores to compete. Visit the AFIT Web site for degree programs, along with eligibility criteria:  www.afit.edu/p/enlisted.cfm. In addition, GRE information can be obtain by contacting Thomson Prometrics at 31-320-239-540 or e-mailing, euregs@prometric.com or euregs@thomson.com.  The GRE is given in Frankfurt, Germany. The degrees offered through AFIT are aeronautical engineering, computer engineering, computer systems, cost analysis, electrical engineering, information assurance, information resource management, information systems management, logistics management, operations research, physics and space systems. ROTC scholarship winners
Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship winners are Staff Sgt. Charles Morton, 86th Maintenance Squadron; Staff Sgt. Melany Ogden, 32nd Air Operations; Staff Sgt. Michael Perolio, 435th Vehicle Readiness Squadron; and Senior Airman Aaron Stachowski, 700th Contracting Squadron. They were selected for the Scholarships for Outstanding Airmen program.  Senior Airman Chris Gerritz, 435th Communications Squadron, was selected for Airman Scholarship and Commissioning Program.  Anyone interested in becoming an officer can attend a commissioning briefing at 3 p.m. Feb. 28, at the Ramstein Education Services Center, Bldg. 2120, Room 415 or call 480-2032 for more information.
