FAMILY ADVOCACY

Domestic Abuse Victim Advocacy Services: If you are 18 and over, and are in an abusive relationship, advocates are available to support you. Advocacy services are available 24/7. During duty hours an advocate can be reached at 06371-46-2370 and after hours at 0173-628-4624. Advocates provide supportive services and can assist with safety planning, assessing for imminent harm, connecting with community resources and information on reporting options.


MEETINGS

American Legion Post GR01 meets the first and third Wednesday of each month in the American Legion Building T-368 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Social time, with food and drinks, begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. All veterans — to include active-duty, retirees, and separated — are welcome to attend. Kaiserslautern Landstuhl Spouses Association: The KLSA Club gathers every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Armstrong Club from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and social. All contracted, military, and civilian spouses welcome.

The state initiative “Welcome to Rhein­land-Pfalz!” holds a German-American Stamm­tisch meeting on the first Tuesday of each month at 6.30 pm at the Paradox Restaurant in Ramstein. The Stammtisch aims at facilitating the local German-American exchange and provides a great opportunity for Americans and locals to meet and get to know each other. Ramstein Toastmasters will meet every first, second and third Tuesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. at the Ramstein South Chapel, Bldg. 2403.
