Fitness centers now have extended hours

Active duty personnel can now take advantage of the extended hours of operation at the Sembach, Kleber, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Landstuhl, Hall of Champions and Mountaineer Fitness Centers with their doors now being open Mon-Fri: 5:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Sat & Sun: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and federal & training holidays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Please go to Kaiserslautern.armymwr.com or Baumholder.armymwr.com for more details.

Spring Vehicle Safety Day

Head over to the Pulaski Automotive Skills Center, May 14 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. where they are offering a FREE Automotive inspection for their Spring Vehicle Safety Day! Pull up for a bumper-to-bumper vehicle checkup by a professional mechanic with no cost to you. This service is open to Soldiers, Family Members, and civilians with a Military ID card and a USAREUR registered vehicle. Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month

Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month, observed each April, is a campaign that aims to increase awareness about the causes and risk factors for sexual assault and empowers individuals to take steps to prevent it in their communities. Army Community Service and the SHARP Program are teaming up with the USAG-RP Libraries to raise awareness about sexual violence. This month, each library will have a special collection of books on display that addresses rape culture, management of trauma, prevention and intervention within various demographics. UTAP services available

Service with the Kleber and Baumholder UTAP offices is now available Mon-Fri. Please note, no more than three customers are allowed in the Baumholder office at a time and only one at a time at the Kleber Location. UTAP in-briefs require an appointment and are limited to five customers. Take advantage of the Automotive Skills Centers in your area. Car Wash operation is also open and staff will be disinfecting wands and vacuum cleaners several times a day for your safety. Baumholder Spring sports registration now open

Don’t miss your opportunity to get your child outside and active with Spring sports. The 2021 season offers skills camps for soccer (ages 5-14), archery (ages 9-15), golf (ages 5-15), cross country (ages 8-15), and baseball (ages 5-8). USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Library now open to the public

All programming and activities will remain virtual but the Kleber, Landstuhl and Baumholder Libraries are now open to the public. Patrons are required to wear facemasks, sign in and sanitize their hands upon entry. Capacity is limited due to COVID mitigation policies. Computer usage will also be allowed. Blended Learning Lifeguard course

Become a certified lifeguard with the Blended Learning Lifeguard Course at the Aquatic Center. Becoming a lifeguard has never been easier with your classroom training now online. Get it done anywhere and when it works best for you! Finish off your certification in the pool once your online coursework is completed. Must be 16 years of age or older and pass the swim prerequisites of a 300-meter continuous swim, two minutes treading water with no hands, and a timed swim with a 10-pound weight.
