
Armstrong’s Club to Host Mother’s Day Buffet
Armstrong’s Club will be hosting a Mother’s Day Buffet on May 11 in the club’s ballroom, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Seating times are 10 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 3 p.m. Reservation deadline is May 8. The cost of the buffet is €29 for those who are 18 and older, €16 for ages 12 to 17, €6 for ages 6 to 11, and free for children under the age of 5. Thursday Night Comedy Show
South African Comedian featured on the Netflix show Only Jokes Allowed, Gilli Apter, headlines the Thursday Comedy Show May 15 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Earnest Harris Memorial Car Show
Five categories will be judged at the Earnest Harris Memorial Car Show, held May 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pulaski Auto Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Latin Nights at the Rheinlander!
The last Friday of the month is Latin Night, starting April 25, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the ballroom of the Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks. The Salsa Band Borinkuba will perform live several Latin music favorites, such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. USAG RP Volunteer Recognition Ceremony

Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club
The new open sessions of free beginner dance lessons is every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The focus is Country Two Step, Swing and Line Dance. Ten other styles are also available upon request. No experience necessary. New sessions are: Now to May 14; May 21 to June 18; and July 9 to Aug. 6. Wear smooth bottom shoes. Outdoor Recreation Cycling Challenge
The Ultimate Outdoor Recreation Cycling Challenge is here! The challenge is for riders to conquer 1,000km (621 miles) in just four months. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center
The Landstuhl Youth Center (LYC) is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
