ROB VAT Office Relocating

The Rhine Ordnance Barracks VAT office is relocating to the ROB Java Cafe, Bldg. 273 on ROB, effective Sep. 6. To accommodate the move, the VAT office will be closed on Thursday, Sep. 1, and Friday, Sep. 2.  All other VAT offices are open normal operating hours. Soldier and Family Readiness Training

The Army Community Service is hosting a free Soldier and Family Readiness Training Aug. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The training will feature speakers, topics and resources that will improve readiness for Soldiers and Families. Date Night Couples Painting

Army Community Service is hosting a free Date Night Couples Painting Event Aug. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Community Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Lanakilas Polynesian Show

Say Aloha to summer with the Armed Forces Entertainment’s Lanakilas Polynesian Show Friday, Aug. 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. The show is free and open to all ages. Comedy Buffet: Something for Everyone at Kazabra Club

The Comedy Club at Kazabra welcomes you back for another night of laughs with “Comedy Buffet: Something for Everyone” Friday, Aug. 26 from 8 to 10 p.m. The show’s headliner is Natalie Perlin, who is a beloved fixture at the classiest comedy venues in New York City. Late Night Basketball

Late Night Basketball happens the last Friday of every month from 9 to 11 p.m. at the Hall of Champions Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. The next one is Friday, Aug. 26. DOD ID card holders who are 18 and older can stop by the fitness center to play pick-up basketball. No advance registration or fee required to participate. Rolling Hills National Golf Month Scramble

The National Golf Month Scramble takes place Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Baumholder Rolling Hills Army Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne, just five minutes away from Smith Barracks.  Golfers make their own two or four person team for this 18-hole, scramble format. Build Legos at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder “Iron Works” Library welcomes Lego builders of all ages to learn, challenge and create Aug. 27 at 1 p.m.  Building with LEGOs presents a number of challenges that call upon children’s creativity, persistence and social skills. The Award-Winning KMC Onstage 2022-2023 Theater Season

The 2022-2023 season tickets for all shows are available to purchase at the Award-Winning KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Bisque Painting Parties

Bisque painting parties to celebrate special occasions and birthdays are now available at the Arts & Crafts Center, Bldg. 8104 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Each session is about 1.5 hours.  Art is a wonderful creative outlet for expression and can provide a great relief for anyone.
