Jennywings — Stockings for Soldiers

HELP IS NEEDED, we need to get the stockings filled with love from you and your family! Volunteers are welcome and needed. Please come to the food court in the KMCC Mall between 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the following dates: Today, Dec. 7-9, 21-23. Stockings will be delivered to service members downrange and local hospitals.

New Year’s Eve Cabaret, Featuring the Winter Wonderettes

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is ringing in 2024 with their first-ever New Year’s Eve Cabaret Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the KMC Onstage Studio, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. This event will feature the Winter Wonderettes and is for ages 18 and older. Cost is $50 per ticket, which includes live entertainment, dancing, finger foods and a champagne toast at midnight! Wind Down Wednesday at the Baumholder Warrior Zone

The Baumholder Warrior Zone is hosting Wind Down Wednesday every Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. The night belongs to the ladies, who can have messy buns and wear sweatpants in a “no judgement” free zone. It’s a chance to kick back, play some games and have a few laughs with friends. Anime Club at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder Library announces the return of the Anime Club the first Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. This first club meeting is Jan. 2. This club is for otakus in the community, ages 12 to 17. The club will focus on crafts, games, learning how to draw a character and Japanese culture. Largest Disc Golf Course in Germany

The Rolling Hills Golf Course has the largest disc golf course in Germany. The Rolling Hills Disc Golf Course is in Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne about five minutes from Smith Barracks. Disc Golf is like playing golf only with a frisbee instead of clubs. Frisbees are available to rent or buy, and a round of 18 holes of disc golf is only $8. Download the U-Disc app on your phone to see the whole course. Club Sippy Cup at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder Library announces the Club Sippy Cup- Kids Dance Party the second Wednesday of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library’s Imagination Room. The first dance party will be Jan. 10. This program is geared toward toddlers; however, it is open to infants to age 5. Baumholder 2023 Start Smart Winter Sports Registration

Start Smart Winter Sports registration for Baumholder is from now to Dec. 10 for ages three and four. Start Smart is a Child/ Parent interactive program led by a CYS Sports & Fitness Specialist.
