Valentine Bazaar

The Valentine Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. Join Family & MWR for the Valentine Bazaar from Friday, Feb. 10 to Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with Euros, debit and credit cards accepted. AFE Brings the Rush: Pro Blitz Kaiserslautern 

The Armed Forces Entertainment, and Family and MWR present AFE Pro Blitz Kaiserslautern. Meet and greet NFL players and cheerleaders Feb. 11 at the Landstuhl Community Club, Bldg. 370 on Landstuhl Post. This is a free event. Doors open at 5 p.m. Show is at 6 p.m. and followed by a meet and greet. Reservations are not required. It’s a first-come, first-served event. Youth Sports Spring Registration

Registration for spring youth sports opens Feb. 1 to 28 or when teams are full. Cost is $65. A Health Assessment/Sports Physical must be on file and good through June 15, 2023, at time of registration. Spring Hunting Course at Pulaski Barracks

Hunt and own firearms in Germany by taking the Spring Hunting Course from Feb. 8 to April 22 in Bldg. 8167 on Pulaski Barracks. Those interested can register with ODR up to the first day of class, Feb. 8, or when slots are full. Limited spaces available. Classes are in English and are held Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $250, plus membership dues. Open to all hunters ages 18 and older, who are U.S. citizens/I.D. cardholders. Limited spaces available. Course participants earn a life-long hunting certification, which is valid throughout Europe. All classes are mandatory. Double Feature Night at the Landstuhl Library

Join the Landstuhl Library for Double Feature Night (game and movie night) every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. to play board or table-top roleplaying games, put together a puzzle, and/or watch a movie. The next one is Thursday, Jan. 26, Snacks will be provided. This event is free and open to anyone with post access. Stupid Cupid! Anti-Valentine’s Day Bash

If you are tired of all the Valentine’s Day stuff, wear your best black attire and come to the Baumholder Warrior Zone Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. for the “Stupid Cupid!” Anti-Valentine’s Day party. Watch the “Big Game” at the Sembach Warrior Zone 

The Sembach Warrior Zone is showing the “Big Game” for patrons 18 and older Feb. 12 starting at 10 p.m. in the Presidential Room, in the Sembach Community Center, Bldg. 250 on Sembach Kaserne. Tamer Kattan Comedy Show

The first comedy show of 2023 is the Tamer Kattan Comedy Show Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2200 on Vogelweh. Tamer Kattan is a powerhouse of a headliner who honed his skills in Los Angeles, New York City and London. KMC local and internationally renowned comedian, Shanda “Dizzy” Misse, “Dizzy the Host,” will host the show, which also features Detroit Comedian Miky Burch. Cost is $10 at the door. Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities

Participants practice techniques to increase self-compassion at work and everyday life at the Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities Workshop held Jan. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Yoga and Massage Studio, Bldg. 2899 on Pulaski Barracks. Stuffed Animal Sleepover

The popular annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover starts with children dropping off their furry friends Thursday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. Arcadia Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage presents Arcadia Feb. 3 to 5, and Feb. 10 to 12 at the main stage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Shows are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Arcadia moves back and forth between 1809 and the present at the elegant estate owned by the Coverly family.

“Big Game” Party at the Baumholder Warrior Zone

The Baumholder Warrior Zone hosts a “Big Game” Party Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. There will be live streaming of the 2023 Super Bowl on a large projector. Snacks and pizza will be offered during the showing. This event is open to U.S. ID Card holders and their guests, 18 and older. Valentine’s Day Balloon Bouquet Delivery

Surprise your loved ones with a Valentine’s Day Balloon Bouquet. Baumholder Arts and Crafts Center is offering Balloon Bouquets pickup and delivery services on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Armstrong’s Club 

Enjoy a candlelit Valentine’s Day Dinner with “live” piano music Feb. 14 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. This is a dine-in only event. RECURRING EVENTS

“Resiliency through Art”

The Baumholder Arts and Crafts Center, Bldg. 8104 on Smith Barracks, has a “Resiliency through Art” program every Monday at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The next one is Monday, Jan. 9. Cost is $5. Each session is about 1.5 hours. Art is a wonderful creative outlet for expression and can provide a great relief for anyone. Health and Wellness Coaching

Yoga and Massage Studio now offers health and wellness coaching with a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician. The 45-minute sessions begin in January and end in May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. Trivia Night at Armstrong’s Club

The Armstrong’s Club is hosting Trivia Night every fourth Wednesday of the month. The next one is Jan. 25. Trivia Night will start a 7 p.m. Winners will receive a mystery prize. Build Legos at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder “Iron Works” Library welcomes Lego builders of all ages to learn, challenge and create Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. Building with LEGOs presents several challenges that call upon children’s creativity, persistence, and social skills. Additionally, problem solving, critical thinking and engineering skills all come into play as children enjoy building with LEGO bricks.
