Army Community Service “BE STRONG” Excursions

Family and MWR Hiring Event

Family and MWR is hosting a one-time hiring event for vacancies in the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz community. The Pulaski Automotive Skills Center offers PCS cleaning services that includes the inside, outside, and under the hood and carriages of vehicles. This service is guaranteed to pass the agricultural inspections for customers who are shipping POVs to their next duty destinations. Friday Pool Tournament

The Landstuhl Community Club hosts a pool tournament Friday, Jan. 7 at the club, Bldg. 3780 on Landstuhl Post. Sign-up is at 6 p.m., with the tournament beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Contestants must be 18 years or older. This is a 2G+ event. Baumholder Library’s “30 or More You Score!”

The Baumholder “Iron Works” Library is hosting a free “30 or More You Score!” incentive to expand horizons, explore new worlds and to win in the process now to Jan. 31. The Baumholder Library invites patrons to check out at least 30 items or more at one time during the month of January to receive a special reward. Spring Youth Sports Registration

Registration for the U.S. Army’s spring youth sports season opens Feb. 1 to 28 or when teams are full.  Sports available are baseball, golf, softball, soccer, and track and field and are for ages 5 to 15. Cost is $65. A Health Assessment/Sports Physical must be on file prior to initial practice. KMC Onstage Presents “Medea, a Greek Tragedy”

KMC Onstage presents “Medea, a Greek Tragedy” 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4, 5, 11 and 12, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6 and 13 at the KMC Onstage Main Stage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. This production is an ancient Greek tragedy written by Euripides, based on the myth of Jason and Medea, with a creative twist. This is a G2 event. Baumholder Library’s “Potter Palooza”

Corner Café at Armstrong’s Club

The Kaiserslautern Community now has a neighborhood hub of social and culinary life, to rival Parisian cafés, with the opening of the Corner Café inside the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing.
