Get Outdoors with Army ODR Virtual Contest
MWReligible patrons can enjoy time outside during the Get Outdoors with Army Outdoor Recreation virtual contest open through Oct. 31. Each completed activity or equipment rental at Baumholder or Kaiserslautern ODR earns an entry into monthly prize drawings. Participants must submit the official online form for every qualifying action. Winners are announced the second Friday after each month. Beetlejuice Jr. Auditions
Join us for auditions for Beetlejuice Jr. Auditions Aug. 3 and 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Auditions are for youth, ages 8 to 18. Rolling Hills Golf Open
Golfers can compete at the Rolling Hills Golf Course’s Open Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Cost is $50, which includes an 18-hole round of golf
w/cart, a range token, and tickets for a barbecue meal and refreshment. The Rolling Hills Open is a 1-day 18-hole championship tournament. This is a solo tournament playing in groups of 4 with regular rules and regulations applying. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (RHGC Gift cards, $100, $75, and $50) and all winners will receive automatic inclusion on the Rolling Hills Ryder Cup team. Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show
Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is Aug. 19 to Sep. 19. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. Car-show participation for judging and prizes are open to all military affiliated ID card holders with or without SOFA status, to include active duty, reserve, retired, veteran, family member, and DOD/DA/DAF civilians. There will be 5 categories: Best European; Best Muscle Car; Best American Car; Best JDM and Best Old Timer (must be 25 years or older). Family and MWR will culminate the drawing of stunning 2026 MINI Cooper S (4 Door), courtesy of Bavarian Motor Cars, during “Adventures Begin Here – End of Summer Fest” on Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. The Baumholder Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers is hosting a Single Soldier Day Event Sep. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Minick Field. The event welcomes Single Soldiers, geographical bachelors, and single parents. Attendees can expect an array of food trucks, and music. The event will feature a Flag Football and soccer tournaments. Sembach Community Center will host its Ready, Set, Rise! BacktoSchool Brunch on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bldg. 220 on Sembach Kaserne. Par 3 Golf Tournament
Golfers in the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern communities are invited to tee off in the first 18-hole Par 3 Tournament on Friday, Sep. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Registration opens Aug. 1 and goes to the day of the tournament. Golfers can register by either visiting the Rolling Hills pro shop or calling 531-3408 or 0611-143-531-3408. Players are encouraged to arrive early for range warm-up. Players will compete individually within four-person groups, with each hole modified to a par 3 format. The tournament fee is $45 and covers the cart, green fees, range token, and a meal ticket. Summer Reading Program Block Party
Baumholder Library will host its annual Summer Reading Program Celebration on Friday, July 24, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Pavilion 1, located across from the Wagon Wheel Theater on Smith Barracks.

Meet new and seasoned community members at the Baumholder 101 held either twice or once a month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Post Office building 8661 on Smith Barracks. The next one is Monday, July 27. The goal of this orientation is to connect families with resources, community information, local agencies and services, and other Spouses. There will be representatives from Army Community Service, Outdoor Recreation, Value Added Tax, and many others. The orientation is not limited to incoming Spouses and is open to all Spouses. Bay Rental SpecialFamily and MWR Automotive Skills Centers on Smith Barracks in Baumholder, and Landstuhl Post and Pulaski Barracks in Kaiserslautern are offering a $2 discount per hour on all bay fees for E-5 and below military service members throughout July. The promotion applies to active-duty, reserve and retired personnel. The centers aim to make vehicle maintenance more accessible for lower-enlisted service members.
