Treasure Hunt at the Summer Bazaar!

Shop ‘til you drop from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. All items are priced in U.S. dollars—debit and credit cards only. 250th Army Celebration: Boxing-Rumble on The Rock

Registration for active-duty military members to box in the 250th Army Celebration: Boxing-Rumble on The Rock is now to June 11.  The registration form is on the event at baumholder.armymwr.com or kaiserslautern.armymwr.com. The event starts at 5 p.m. on June 14 at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Doors open at 4 p.m. Cost to attend is $10. Children under 12 are free to attend. For limited availability, there will be VIP seating available for $125 for a table of five people. Thursday Night Comedy Show

Featured BBC Comedian, Shane Callaghan headlines the Thursday Comedy Show June 12 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Featured comedians are Fay Walsh, who appeared on Comedy Central, and German Comedian Philipp Leinenbach. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be made with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. U.S. Army 250th Birthday 5k Run

Army Family and MWR will proudly host a free 5k run in honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The distance of 5K can be walked or run. Dogs, strollers and families are welcome. First place finishers in the male, female and child categories will receive a prize. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the run starts 10 a.m. at the Special Events Center. 

U.S. Army 250th Birthday Golf Scramble

Registration for the U.S. Army 250th Birthday Golf Scramble is now to June 14. The birthday scramble will be Saturday, June 14, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne.  This is a nine-hole golf scramble. Cost is $25 for those who register for the scramble BEFORE June 6 and $30 for those who register from June 7 to14 registrations. The birthday celebration will begin after the scramble and will feature a barbecue, refreshments and a complimentary piece of birthday cake, after singing the Army song!   

“Adventures Begin Here” at Outdoor Recreation

Outdoor Recreation is thrilled to invite you to an exhilarating event on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks. This free event serves as an opportunity to showcase tons of information about excursions and programs that Outdoor Recreation offers. There will be contests with amazing prizes, interactive equipment display, fun activities for all ages, dog obedience training and community engagement. U.S. Army 250th Birthday Bowl

Patrons can join the celebration of the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday from June 6 to 14 at Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Soldiers, Civilians, Retirees, and Family Members can enjoy one hour of free bowling. Compete for the highest score with the top scorer winning a $50 MWR gift card! Rolling Hills to Host July 4th Golf Scramble

Celebrate Independence Day on the greens at Rolling Hills with an 18-hole, two-person team scramble at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. The event will tee off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on July 4. Golfers are encouraged to wear their best red, white and blue attire. Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate America’s birthday at Minick Field on Smith Barracks in Baumholder on Friday, July 4 starting at 4 p.m.  The event will showcase live music from Jörg Sanders & Friends and Groove Colour, a car show, food trucks, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks display. Pick-a-Pro Open Set for Weekend of The Open

Join the fun during The Open weekend by entering the Pick-a-Pro Open tournament July 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne.  This an 18-hole tournament and registration fees are $40 per player registering before July 16 and $45 thereafter. Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign will showcase events for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities from now until June 7. STRONG B.A.N.D.S. – STRONG Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength – promotes healthy, active lifestyles for Army communities. It helps motivate Army Soldiers, Families, Retirees and Civilians to get and stay fit. Baumholder Library “A Good Yarn”

The Baumholder Library offers “A Good Yarn” for crafters ages 15 and older every second Wednesday of the month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  at the library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. The next one will be June 11. Summer Reading Program 2025

Register for the free 2025 Summer Reading Program:  “Level Up” with your USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Libraries:  Baumholder, Kleber and Landstuhl.  All ages may register to participate at any one of the Garrison Libraries or online.  Register and start logging your minutes to earn cool prizes. Registration for the free Ultimate Frisbee 101 Summer Camp is now to June 14, or when slots are full. Kaiserslautern Youth Sports is offering the Frisbee Camp for ages 10 to 15 on Landstuhl Post. Sembach Fall Cheer Program

Registration for the Sembach Fall Cheer Program is now to July 15, or when slots are full. The camp is offered for ages 8 to 12 on Sembach Kaserne. Cost is $65 & up. A Sports Physical, good through Nov. 15, is required. 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Families are invited to join the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten on-line program at the Landstuhl Library. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center

The Landstuhl Youth Center is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

The new open sessions of free beginner dance lessons is every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The focus is Country Two Step, Swing and Line Dance. Ten other styles are also available upon request. No experience necessary. Next session is July 9 to Aug. 6. Wear smooth bottom shoes. Rubber-soled athletic shoes are not ideal for dancing.
