
Armstrong’s Club to Host Mother’s Day Buffet
Armstrong’s Club will be hosting a Mother’s Day Buffet on May 11 in the club’s ballroom, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Seating times are 10 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 3 p.m. Reservation deadline is May 8. The cost of the buffet is €29 for those who are 18 and older, €16 for ages 12 to 17, €6 for ages 6 to 11, and free for children under the age of 5. Thursday Night Comedy Show
South African Comedian featured on the Netflix show Only Jokes Allowed, Gilli Apter, headlines the Thursday Comedy Show May 15 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Earnest Harris Memorial Car Show
Five categories will be judged at the Earnest Harris Memorial Car Show, held May 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pulaski Auto Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. The Rolling Hills Open
Registration for the Rolling Hills Open is now until June 19. The event is June 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Cost is $50, which includes the green fee and cart. This is a 1-day, 18-hole championship tournament. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (MWR Gift cards, $100, $75, and $50) and all winners will receive automatic inclusion on the Rolling Hills Ryder Cup team and get free entry into the 4th of July tournament. Weekly Bike Rides with Outdoor Recreation
Baumholder Outdoor Recreation is offering “It’s almost Friday! Come ride with Outdoor Recreation” bike rides from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays happening now to Aug. 31. Grill & Chill with BOSS
Join BOSS every first and third Friday to “Grill & Chill” at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The evening starts at 6 p.m. BOSS members will bring their own meat or meat alternative, seasonings, sides and grill their food. BOSS provides grill, propane and major grilling utensils. “Explore Archery” Summer Camp
Family and MWR Youth Sports are offering “Explore Archery” Summer Camp for ages 10 to 15. Registration is from May 19 to June 27, or when slots are full. The focus is on building fundamental skills, a competitive edge, and a bit of creativity. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club
The new open sessions of free beginner dance lessons is every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The focus is Country Two Step, Swing and Line Dance. Ten other styles are also available upon request. No experience necessary. New sessions are: Now to May 14; May 21 to June 18; and July 9 to Aug. 6. Wear smooth bottom shoes. 2025 USAG RP Unit Level Softball Leagues
Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Unit Level Softball Season is now to May 16. Softball Season for Baumholder and Kaiserslautern is from May 27 to July 21 with games played at the Soldier Field on Smith Barracks in Baumholder and at the KAD Fields, near Daenner Kaserne, in Kaiserslautern. Army Active Duty, family members, and DOD civilians with ID cards, who are ages 18 and older, are eligible to participate. Sports Officials needed. If interested, contact your local sports office. Unit Level Soccer Season
The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports Program announces the 2025 Unit Level Soccer Season from June 24 to Aug. 14 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities. Registration for both communities is now until May 31. Letters of Intent are available at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center for the Baumholder community, and the Kleber Physical Fitness Center for the Kaiserslautern community. The Landstuhl Youth Center (LYC) is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
