Treasure Hunt at the Summer Bazaar!

Shop ‘til you drop from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. All items are priced in U.S. dollars—debit and credit cards only. 250th Army Celebration: Boxing-Rumble on The Rock

Registration for active-duty military members to box in the 250th Army Celebration: Boxing-Rumble on The Rock is now to June 11.  The registration form is on the event at baumholder.armymwr.com or kaiserslautern.armymwr.com. The event starts at 5 p.m. on June 14 at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Doors open at 4 p.m. Cost to attend is $10. Children under 12 are free to attend. For limited availability, there will be VIP seating available for $125 for a table of five people. Thursday Night Comedy Show

Featured BBC Comedian, Shane Callaghan headlines the Thursday Comedy Show June 12 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Featured comedians are Fay Walsh, who appeared on Comedy Central, and German Comedian Philipp Leinenbach. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door.  Payment can be made with credit and debit cards or U.S dollars. Euros are not accepted. U.S. Army 250th Birthday 5k Run

Army Family and MWR will proudly host a free 5k run in honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The distance of 5K can be walked or run. Dogs, strollers and families are welcome. First place finishers in the male, female and child categories will receive a prize. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the run starts 10 a.m. at the Special Events Center.

Sembach Fall Cheer Program

Registration for the Sembach Fall Cheer Program is June 1 to July 15, or when slots are full. The camp is offered for ages 8 to 12 on Sembach Kaserne. Cost is $65 & up. A Sports Physical, good through Nov. 15, is required. U.S. Army 250th Birthday Bowl

Celebrate the 250th U.S. Army Birthday from June 1 to 14 at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Patrons who bowl a score of 250 or more will win a commemorative Army 250 challenge coin and a free game. Bowlers take a photo of their score of 250 or higher on the screen with their name and give it to the staff to claim their coin and coupon. Summer Reading Kick-Off Event

The annual kick-off event for the 2025 Summer Reading Program “Level Up at Your Library” is June 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. There will be activities and crafts, and a schedule of special programming. Readers can hunt for our mascot Gordon for a chance to earn a special prize.  Those participating can start logging minutes on June 1 at https://rheinland-pfalz.beanstack.com/reader365, and maybe they will be able to pick-up their first prize at the kick-off event. U.S. Army 250th Birthday Golf Scramble

Registration for the U.S. Army 250th Birthday Golf Scramble is now to June 14. The birthday scramble will be Saturday, June 14, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne.  This is a nine-hole golf scramble. Cost is $25 for those who register for the scramble BEFORE June 6 and $30 for those who register from June 7 to14 registrations. The birthday celebration will begin after the scramble and will feature a barbecue, refreshments and a complimentary piece of birthday cake, after singing the Army song!

Dodgeball Tournament

Registration is now to June 20 for the Dodgeball Tournament on June 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sembach Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 105 on Sembach Kaserne. Registration fee is $15 per team. Teams can register at Sembach, Kleber, ROB or Landstuhl PFCs. Maximum number is eight teams. Tournament format is double elimination, a game will be the best out of three. There will be an award for first place.

SKIES Irish Dance Classes

Register your child now for SKIES Unlimited Irish Dance Classes for ages 4 to 18 at the SKIES Bldg. 3819 on Landstuhl Post. Summer camps are currently offered for the following dates: June 16 to 25, Monday to Wednesday, and July 8 to 31, Tuesday to Thursday. Summer Reading Program 2025

Register for the free 2025 Summer Reading Program:  “Level Up” with your USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Libraries:  Baumholder, Kleber and Landstuhl.  All ages may register to participate at any one of the Garrison Libraries or online.  Register and start logging your minutes to earn cool prizes. 2025 USAG RP Unit Level Softball Leagues

Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Unit Level Softball Season is now to May 16. Softball Season for Baumholder and Kaiserslautern is from May 27 to July 21 with games played at the Soldier Field on Smith Barracks in Baumholder and at the KAD Fields, near Daenner Kaserne, in Kaiserslautern. Army Active Duty, family members, and DOD civilians with ID cards, who are ages 18 and older, are eligible to participate. Sports Officials needed. If interested, contact your local sports office. Summer Tire Mounting & Balance Special

Baumholder, Landstuhl and Pulaski Auto Skills Centers are offering Summer Tire Mounting and Balance Special during May. The special is 10% off mounting and balancing of tires when utilizing their Speedy Lube tire services or when performing the mounting and balancing in the self-help sections. Call any of the three Auto Skills Centers to schedule a summer tire change. For the do-it-yourselfers, crafts shop bays are first-come first-serve. Unit Level Soccer Season

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports Program announces the 2025 Unit Level Soccer Season from June 24 to Aug. 14 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities. Registration for both communities is now until May 31. Letters of Intent are available at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center for the Baumholder community, and the Kleber Physical Fitness Center for the Kaiserslautern community. 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Families are invited to join the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten on-line program at the Landstuhl Library. Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course

The Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8897/95 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder, has a Wibit inflatable Obstacle Course for rent. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center

The Landstuhl Youth Center is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
