Summer Bazaar

Join Family & MWR for the Summer Bazaar from Friday, June 3, to Sunday, June 5, at the Kleber Kaserne Fitness Center, Bldg. 3235. Hours of shopping are Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. Baumholder June and July Trip Schedules Available

2022 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge

The 2022 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge is happening now unit Sep. 9. Participants must sign up through Army Outdoor Recreation in Baumholder or Kaiserslautern. Participants have a chance to win a Schwinn Bike. For more information, visit baumholder.armymwr.com or Kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.

“Resiliency through Art”

The Baumholder Arts and Crafts Center, Bldg. 8104 on Smith Barracks, has a “Resiliency through Art” program every Monday at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The next one is Monday, May 30. Cost is $5. Each session is about 1.5 hours. Art is a wonderful creative outlet for expression and can provide a great relief for anyone. BOSS Normandy 78th D-Day Anniversary Tour

The Kaiserslautern Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers Program is offering a Normandy 78th D-Day Anniversary Tour June 3 to 7. Must be a BOSS Soldier to participate. Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign

The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Strong B.A.N.D.S. Campaign will showcase events for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities until June 4. STRONG B.A.N.D.S. — STRONG Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength — promotes healthy, active lifestyles for Army communities. It helps motivate Army Soldiers, Families, Retirees and Civilians to get and stay fit. Adult Swimming Classes

“Adult Learn to Swim” will be held every Saturday at 10 to 10:50 a.m. at the Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8897/95 on Wetzel Kaserne in Baumholder. Registration will be at the Baumholder Aquatic Center until May 28. Cost is $50. The Aquatic Center no longer accepts cash. Regular full-time and part-time lifeguard positions are available at the Baumholder Aquatic Center, Bldg. 8895/8897 on Wetzel Kaserne. Jobs are now listed on www.usajobs.gov. The Kaiserslautern SKIES Unlimited Program announces the 2022 Class Schedule. The listing is available on kaiserslautern.armymwr.com. Twisted Art

The Baumholder Warrior Zone and the Arts and Crafts Center hosts a “Twisted Art” Painting Class June 25, July 23, Aug. 20 and Sept. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks. Cost is $35. Crafting at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder “Iron Works” Library hosts a crafting program, “OOPS! I Craft Myself,” for ages 12, Thursday, June 16, at 4 p.m. at the Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. This program offers children a chance to show their creativity to create crafts. These monthly sessions are seasonal or holiday projects. Cornhole Tournament

The Baumholder Warrior Zone is hosting a Cornhole Tournament May 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $10 per player. Grand Prize is a $50 Visa gift card (per player on team). Individuals will need to complete a pre-registration form and submit entry prior to event to facilitate bracket planning. Event is open to U.S. ID Card holders and their guests, ages 18 and older. Build Legos at the Baumholder Library

The Baumholder “Iron Works” Library welcomes Lego builders of all ages to learn, challenge and create May 28 at 1 p.m. Building with LEGOs presents a number of challenges that call upon children’s creativity, persistence and social skills. Additionally, problem solving, critical thinking and engineering skills all come into play as children enjoy building with LEGO bricks. Fall U.S. Army Youth Sports Registration

Registration for fall U.S. Army youth sports opens June 1 to July 15 or when teams are full. Sports offered for ages five and older: Soccer, Flag Football, Tackle Football, Golf, Volleyball, Cross Country and Cheerleading. Minimum age requirements vary by sports. Cost is $65 and up. Health Assessment/ Sports Physical are required. Yoga and Wine at Armstrong’s Club

Armstrong’s Club is hosting a Yoga and Wine June 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the club, Bldg. 1036 in Vogelweh Housing.
