Halloween Night Golf

Registration is open now through Oct. 24 for Halloween Night Golf at Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888, on Wetzel Kaserne. Halloween Night Golf is on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 4 P.m. The $30 entry fee includes a green fee, and participants will play five holes using flashing glow-in-the-dark golf balls on a course illuminated with glow sticks and rings. A Gary Sinise Serving Our Heroes Appreciation meal will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This appreciation meal is for active duty, U.S. & Allied service members, veterans & first responders. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, bring glow-in-the-dark accessories and flashlights, and may continue playing additional holes after the initial round. College Night at Kaiserslautern High School

Join Family and MWR, in partnership with Kaiserslautern High School for College Night Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kaiserslautern High School, Bldg. 3000 on Vogelweh.  There will be approximately 50 universities and colleges represented along with organizations that provide scholarships to students. European Universities and stateside universities will be represented along with military service representatives. Middle school and High school students benefit from this event. The event is open to all ID Card holders.

Trunk or Treat in Baumholder

Trunk or Treat event is on Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot between the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center and the Wagon Wheel, on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. For more information, visit baumholder.armymwr.com or kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.

Holiday Bazaar

Get a head start on holiday shopping at the annual Holiday Bazaar, featuring unique European gifts, specialty foods, handcrafted items, and more. Join Family & MWR for the Holiday Bazaar from Friday, Nov. 6 to Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Sembach Bazaar Warehouse, Bldg. 141 on Sembach Kaserne. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices are in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. Open to U.S. ID cardholders only. Strollers are welcome.

Champions American Diner in Landstuhl Community Club

Champions American Diner is now open inside the Landstuhl Community Club, Bldg. 3780, on Landstuhl Post, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options for the community. Breakfast is served daily until 10:30 a.m., while the menu features favorites such as gourmet burgers, Nashville hot chicken, mac ’n’ cheese bowls, wings, pizza, fresh salads and loaded fries ’n’ tots. Guests can also enjoy milkshakes, smoothies, desserts and a dedicated kid’s menu. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club

Patrons can learn two-step and country swing with the free beginner dance lessons in November and December.   These classes are open sessions, once a week, on Wednesday at 7 to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. There will also be line-dance workshops offered on selected Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club. Military Libraries Week

USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Libraries at Baumholder, Kleber and Landstuhl will be in the spotlight during Military Libraries Week, Nov. 1 to 7. This year’s theme is “Military Libraries – Your Mission is Our Mission” and highlights the crucial role libraries play in providing academic and social support to our military community. Military Libraries Week is a time to recognize how military libraries empower individuals with the tools and resources to grow professionally and personally. Your mission is their mission. Baumholder Youth Winter Sports Season Registration

Registration for winter youth sports for the Baumholder community is Nov. 16 to Dec. 4. Sports offered are basketball, ages 5 to 15, and cheer, ages 5 to 15. Cost is $70. A current Health Assessment/ Sports Physical must be on file and valid until March 14, 2027, to participate.  Sports clinics offered are bowling, ages 8 to 18, volleyball, ages 8 to 15, and indoor soccer, ages 5 to 8. Thursday Night Comedy Show

Frankie Marcos headlines the Thursday Comedy Show Nov. 19 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Feature comedian is Ryan Charnoky. Host is local comedian Erin Crouch. This is an 18+ event. Turkey Shoot

Registration for the Turkey Shoot is now to Nov. 21 at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. The November Turkey Shoot happens Sunday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is a fun season closeout tournament with the winner receiving a free turkey and second place will get a free ham. This tournament will be standard stroke play format over 18 holes. Cost is $35 for members, $35 for early signup and $40 for day of signup. Beetlejuice Jr. Performances

Beetlejuice Jr., a youth musical based on the Tim Burton film, will run Oct. 23–25 and 30, and Nov. 1, with Friday and Saturday shows at 7 p.m. and Sunday shows at 2 p.m. (No show on Oct. 31.) at KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Tickets cost $20, with $15 pricing for youth, seniors and students. Season tickets are also available. Halloween 5K Costume Fun Run

The Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Program hosts a 5K Halloween Fun Run, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The cost is $8 per person, children under 12 years old are free. Signups are at 9:30 a.m. at the event or participants can register through WebTrac on Kaiserslautern.armymwr.com.  Come dressed in your favorite costume! Special Viewing: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Let’s do the Time Warp again! A special Halloween screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be on Oct. 31 at 3232. The 18+ event begins with a preshow at 9 p.m., followed by the movie at 10 p.m. at KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Tickets are $15 and include a prop bag for interactive participation. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite character and join in the cult-classic fun. Season tickets are also available at the screening. Start Smart Basketball

Enrollment for Start Smart Basketball for ages 3 to 5 is now to Oct. 31 or when sessions are full.  Cost is $30. Location is in Landstuhl. Start Smart is a parent/child interactive program led by a Sports and Fitness Specialist. Start Smart teaches children the skills they need to play organized sports in a FUN, non-competitive environment in five, 45-minute sessions.
