The Holiday Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. New Dates for Big Stage Karaoke at Kazabra Club

Caliente Comedy Show

The last comedy show of 2023 is the Caliente Comedy Show Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The headliner is Katie Green, who is one of the most exciting new voices to hit the United Kingdom comedy scene. The show’s host is Charles Fastiggi, who has taught music in the KMC for the past 10 years and is excited to host his first show. There will be two featured comedians – Hector Ayala III and Laura Lopez. Roverto Mandes Diez, who is an active-duty Soldier, will be the guest comedian. Cost is $10 at the door. Volunteer Coaches Needed for Baumholder Youth Winter Sports Season

The Baumholder Youth Sports Program is seeking volunteers to coach the 2023 Youth Winter Sports Season. Coaches are needed for basketball, ages 5-15, cheerleading, ages 5-15, and bowling, ages 8-15. Benefits include volunteer hours toward awards and promotion, own children enrolled receive up to 100% discount on sports fee, earn signature Baumholder sports swag gear, and have a positive impact on community and the mission. Winter Safety Check

Community members can get their vehicles ready for the colder months at the free winter safety checks Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Automotive Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Professionals will check to ensure customers’ POV’s are up to safety standards. The trained staff will be on-hand to inspect tires (condition and air pressure), fluid levels and conditions, wiper blade condition and more. Staff will also explain the German road rules for winter tires and help to prepare winter emergency kits and selling already prepared kits. Halloween Bowling Specials

The Strikers Bowling Center is offering Halloween Bowling, Oct. 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. An hour of bowling is $15, and shoes are $3. If patrons are in FULL costume, the shoe rental is free. Halloween 5K Costume Fun Run

Dress up in Halloween costume and take part in this free 5K Halloween Fun Run, Oct. 28. Registration is 9 a.m., run start is 10 a.m. Zombies, mummies, dogs, strollers and families are welcome to walk or run the distance.
