Individuals can make a difference in the lives of Army Families by submitting issues for the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz fiscal year 2024 Army Family Action Plan conference. Army Family Action Plan provides Soldiers, Army Civilians, Family members, Survivors, and Retirees a voice by identifying issues and concerns for Army Senior Leadership resolution. Start Smart Basketball Registration

Night Disc Golf

Celebrate the season with a Night Disc Golf Scramble Oct. 20 at the Rolling Hills Golf Course, Bldg. 8888 on Wetzel Kaserne. Cost is $20 plus green fees. Winter Safety Check

Community members can get their vehicles ready for the colder months at the free winter safety checks Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Automotive Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Professionals will check to ensure customers’ POV’s are up to safety standards. The trained staff will be on-hand to inspect tires (condition and air pressure), fluid levels and conditions, wiper blade condition and more. Staff will also explain the German road rules for winter tires and help to prepare winter emergency kits and selling already prepared kits. Halloween Bowling Specials

The Strikers Bowling Center is offering Halloween Bowling, Oct. 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. An hour of bowling is $15, and shoes are $3. If patrons are in FULL costume, the shoe rental is free. SKIES Unlimited offers Irish Dance Classes for ages 4 to at the SKIES Bldg. 3819 on Landstuhl Post. Enrollment is ongoing and Fall classes have started. Friday Pool Tournament

The Landstuhl Community Club hosts a free pool tournament Sep. 15 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the club, Bldg. 3780 on Landstuhl Post.
