Jobs for Soldiers and their Families

Family and MWR has open continuous announcements for a specific shift (weekends/ evenings) for Soldiers and their Family members who are interested in supplementing their income to enhance their financial resiliency. Middle Eastern Dance Class

For those who want to add something unique to their fitness routine, the Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Program is offering Middle Eastern Dance Class with Dejah. The classes start on Monday Oct. 2 at 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. at the Sembach Fitness Center and on Wednesday at 7 to 8 p.m. at the Massage and Yoga Studio on Pulaski Barracks. Joel Bryant Comedy Show

Another night of laughs is set to happen on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The Joel Bryant Comedy Show starts at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 at the bar. Headliner Joel Bryant is a recognizable actor from many TV, film and commercial spots such as “Monk,” “The Heartbreak Kid,” “LA Macabre,” and “Criminal Minds.” Local Comedian Erin Crouch will host the show, which will also feature Kendra Borgen, whose show with Erin “Gone Girls: Alaskans in Exile” was a sold-out success in February in Wiesbaden. Costume Karaoke

The only thing better than Karaoke is doing it in costume. Join in on the fun with Costume Karaoke, October 21, 6-10 p.m. at the Landstuhl Community Club, Bldg. 3780, Landstuhl Post. Halloween Party and Costume Contest

Landstuhl Community Club is hosting a Halloween Party and Costume Contest with a live DJ Saturday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. to midnight at the club, Bldg. 3780 on Landstuhl Post. For adults, 18 and older. Shawingz will have a Halloween special. The Costume Contest is from 8 to 10 p.m. Costume Contest categories will be ‘Most Creative’ and ‘Scariest’ and prizes will be given for the First to Third Place winners ($50, $20, $10). Halloween Weekend at Armstrong’s Club

Celebrate Halloween Weekend at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg., 1036, on Vogelweh Housing. Halloween Costume Contest Party

Tavern on the Rock is hosting a Halloween Costume Contest Party Oct. 28 starting at 9 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Center, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Costume signups are from 9 to 11 p.m. at the door. Signup is required to participate in the contest. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. There will be karaoke, food, and drinks. Community Baby Shower

The ACS Family Advocacy and New Parent Support Program is hosting a free Community Baby Shower Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rheinlander Community Center, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. The event is open to DoD ID cardholders but is especially meant to celebrate all new and expecting parents in the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz communities. Holiday Bazaar

The Holiday Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise for all your shopping needs. Join Family & MWR for the Holiday Bazaar from Friday, Nov. 3 to Sunday, Nov. 5 at the Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Hours of shopping are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. There will be a multitude of vendors offering everything from pottery, antiques, wine, cheese, jewelry, and so much more. All prices in U.S. dollars, with only debit and credit cards accepted. The legendary Country Night just got better with DJ Wrangler spinning the tunes to get you moving throughout the night, starting November 11. Army Community Service is hosting a free Virtual Soldier and Family Readiness Training Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon via MS Teams. Registration is from Nov. 1 to 15. Vehicle Turn in and Towing Services Now Available

Vehicle turn in for donation is available 7 days a week during business hours and all customs paperwork is taken care of to include on-the-spot de-registration paperwork. Take advantage of this 10-minute process. Towing Services are available by appointment at MWR Automotive Skill Centers. Barefoot in the Park Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is pleased to open their 2023-24 season with Neil Simon’s hilarious and touching classic comic love story, Barefoot in the Park, on Sep. 29 to Oct. 1 at the KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne. Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Patrons can tuck their fuzzy friends in the Fuzzy Arms Hotel at the Baumholder Library, Bldg. 8332 on Smith Barracks. Check-in time is Sep. 29 between noon and 4 p.m. Checkout time is Oct. 2 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., when patrons can see what kind of fun and mischief their fuzzy friends got into the night before.
