***image1***“Like in recent years, Westpfalzhalle will be decorated in a festive atmosphere with colorful flowers and Easter decorations,” said the association’s executive committee member Juergen Feind.

“The Easter market lures a lot of visitors from all over to Niederkirchen,” he added.
More than 30 exhibitors display and sell Easter decorations. They offer handmade wooden items, Easter floristic, baskets, jewelry, silk paintings, window hangings, embroideries, tatting and turning works, silhouettes and products made of natural stones.

Easter eggs, made of different techniques, might turn into popular collectors’ items. Also, vendors from Niederkirchen’s French sister city, Grancey le Chateau, will be present to show off their items.

Visitors will be able to taste culinary specialties, including French specialties and selected wines from France and Germany. There is coffee, cake and a children’s raffle.

Admission fee is €1. Children under 14 are admitted free.
“The diversified exhibition of Easter items is worth a visit and I’m sure that every visitor will find something,” said Mr. Feind.

Niederkirchen is located north of Otterberg, past Schallodenbach.
