Public School Advisory Forum
The Public School Advisory Forum will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sembach Elementary School’s Tiger Tale Theater, Bldg. 2. The forum is designed to be the adviser group to the Department of Defense Dependents Schools District superintendent and installation commanders on school issues. To participate, you do not have to be a member of the School Advisory Council or School Advisory Board, but attendance is highly encouraged for parents. For details, call 480-9374.

Commissary parking lot closing
Today will be the last day parents and students can use the parking lot on the north side of the Ramstein Commissary for a drop-off or pick-up point for the elementary, intermediate and middle schools. The parking lot will close until the renovation of the Ramstein Commissary is completed in late 2012.

Make cards with EDGE
The EDGE, a program providing youth (from sixth to 12th grade) with an opportunity to Experience, Develop, Grow and Excel, and the Kaiserslautern Library need help making cards for deployed troops and Soldiers at Landstuhl Medical Center. EDGE will be making cards from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning Wednesday at the Kaiserslautern Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post.

RMS yearbooks
The Ramstein Middle School PTSA has limited copies of the 2010/2011 yearbook available to students and staff members. The yearbooks are available for $35 and will be sold on a first come basis. RMS Lunch Recreation Program
Ramstein Middle School’s Lunch Recreation Program is in urgent need of volunteers to staff and pass out equipment during lunch at the school. The commitment is flexible and volunteers can select to work sixth, seventh or eighth grade lunch, depending on the individual or organization’s schedule. Volunteer at RMS
Are you new to Ramstein Middle School and looking for volunteer opportunities in your community, or are you looking to devote a few hours a month to your child’s school? RMS PTSA membership meeting
Ramstein Middle School’s PTSA will hold a membership meeting from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in the school’s information center/library. Current and new members are welcome to attend. For more information, e-mail the PTSA at

KMC scholarship program
KMC scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors, continuing university students and spouses of U.S. active-duty, retired military and Department of Defense civilians residing in the KMC. Details of eligibility, requirements and deadlines are noted in the scholarship applications available at http://ramsteinosc.org/scholarships. The Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club, Ramstein Enlisted Spouses’ Association and Kaiserslautern Landstuhl Spouses’ Association provide the funding for the KMC scholarship program.
