Welcome Back Barbecue
All registered Girl Scouts and their parents are welcome to attend the Welcome Back Barbecue, which takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the pavilion by the softball fields. School photos
Ramstein Middle School will conduct school photos from Wednesday to today in Armstrong Hall. Parents will have the opportunity to view the photos online and select prints and poses directly. Multiple poses will be taken and parents will have the opportunity to order a variety of pictures and products after viewing. For more information, contact the SAO.        

Scholarships
The KMC AFCEA recently awarded 12 military personnel and government civilians scholarships to attend a free Security+ class sponsored by Global Knowledge, CompTIA and Pearson VUE. The class includes one free voucher to allow each student to earn their Security+ certification. The value of the course and certification test is $2,000 per student. The students were selected at the Summer Tech Expo raffle and by the AFCEA Scholarship Committee based on outstanding performance in their units. Travel, earn college credit
University of Maryland University College Europe announces two three-credit undergraduate field study courses: “Dublin, Ireland: A Brief Literary History” and “Expatriate Writers in Venice: 6 p.m., to Present,” which will be offered in October in Dublin, Ireland, and Venice, Italy. The registration deadline for both courses is Sept. 26. College night
The annual college night will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Special Events Center on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. More than 100 accredited colleges and universities with representatives from the U. S. and across Europe will inform about education opportunities.

Rummage Sale
Vogelweh Elementary School PTSA is hosting a Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 2. It is $20 per table. Please send all questions to ptsa.vogelweh@eu.dodea.edu. If 10 tables are not purchased by today, the Rummage Sale will be postponed.

Kinder Music

U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s SKIES Unlimited is now offering “ABC Music and Me.” This program is open for children enrolled in a child care or a pre-K program and is based on early language and literacy development through music and story time. Volunteers needed
Landstuhl Girl Scouts need volunteers. We are currently in need of troop leaders and co-leaders for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes. We also need people to fill positions on our board. Positions include co-OCC and/or OCC elect, hut manager, public relations and Web site manager. Informal meeting
