Child and Youth Program Assistants work directly with children and youth and must be trustworthy, able to maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times and have the desire to be a positive influence.
Children ages 4+ will be introduced to the fundamentals of engineering. Students will have an opportunity to build electrical engines, working draw-bridges, fully functioning cranes and basic gear boxes. Students will also be introduced to engineering concepts using pneumatic principles and equipment. All of this is done using the registered brand of Fischertechnik materials. Worksheets will be handed out so that children can expand their understanding of learned concepts outside of the classroom. Gain a better understanding of the written and verbal German language! Two levels are offered: German Basics and Intermediate German. All course materials are provided free of charge. KMC Teen Shuttle
Child and Youth Services offer a KMC Teen Shuttle service. Pick-up/Drop-off points are located throughout Vogelweh, Vogelweh Housing, Ramstein, and Landstuhl.
