Teen Summit 2019
Enroll your teen (grades 6-12) now for the biggest teen event of the year, The R2 Teen Summit, being held Nov. 1-2 at the Landstuhl Youth Center, Landstuhl, Bldg. 93812. The fun will begin Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. with the summit/fun workshops, guest speakers and teen panels taking place until 6 p.m., including free lunch and snacks. Afterwards, dinner will be offered from 6-8 p.m. and from then on, until 8 a.m. the following morning, enjoy the most awesome lock-in with gaming tournaments, karaoke/lip sync challenge, dance challenges as well as awards, trips and other amazing prize giveaways, to also included breakfast! (Attendance to the Summit is required to attend the lock-in.) Permission slip and enrollment is required before Oct. 30. Korean language lessons
Gift your child the gift of a second, or maybe even third language! SKIESUnlimited is now offering Korean language lessons. Open to all youth ages 5-18 with a military I.D. that are registered with CYS Services. Job openings at Child and Youth Services
Are you interested in working with children and youth? Apply online for Child and Youth Services positions at www.usajobs.gov. Look for Job Title: Child and Youth Program Assistant (Entry, Skill & Target Level) CY-01/02. Positions are available on Kleber, Landstuhl, Sembach and Miesau. Child and Youth Program Assistants work directly with children and youth and must be trustworthy, able to maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times and have the desire to be a positive influence.

Engineering classes
Children ages 4+ will be introduced to the fundamentals of engineering. Students will have an opportunity to build electrical engines, working draw-bridges, fully functioning cranes and basic gear boxes. Students will also be introduced to engineering concepts using pneumatic principles and equipment. All of this is done using the registered brand of Fischertechnik materials. Worksheets will be handed out so that children can expand their understanding of learned concepts outside of the classroom. Conversational German
Gain a better understanding of the written and verbal German language! Two levels are offered: German Basics and Intermediate German. All course materials are provided free of charge. German classes
Introduce your children to the German language and culture through SKIESUnlimited German classes. Classes available for ages 4 to 14 at multiple locations. Private tutoring sessions are available. Voice Lessons
Children ages 8-18 can now learn how to develop a strong, healthy singing voice with SKIESUnlimited Voice Lessons! Private lessons are offered on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2901 and Landstuhl, Bldg. 3819. Participants will be trained on breath control, music theory and vocal techniques.
