Taking a shower instead of taking a bath saves a lot of energy.

  • But there is still plenty of saving potential when showering: simply take a shorter shower and lower the shower temperature. It has been established that showering at a temperature of 37 °C (98.6 °F) is sufficient.
  • In general, the water should not run unnecessarily when washing your hands and brushing your teeth.
