Fallen soldiers

Agustin Sarmiento, 66th Transportation Company, mourns during a recent memorial service held at Daenner Kaserne for two 21st Theater Support Command, 66th Trans Soldiers who lost their lives July 22 in northern Iraq as a result of an improvised Explosive Device striking their vehicle in a convoy. Both Sgt. Tatjana Reed, 35, and Spc. Torey J. Dantzler, 21, posthumously received the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
