Filing PCS vouchers just got easier with PIPS

Beginning Monday, Finance Customer Service will offer two new customer service initiatives in an attempt to better service their customers. There will be a change in customer service hours and the Permanent Change of Station In-Processing System, or PIPS, will be introduced.

New hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday. The office will still be open Thursdays for appointments, but only from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additionally, finance will unveil an automated way for members to file their PCS voucher, called PIPS. This system offers a paperless and faster way to submit PCS-related financial documents. 

PIPS utilizes an easy to understand question and answer format that walks the member through the PCS travel voucher process.

PIPS is configured to electronically transmit the voucher to finance, which saves the member a trip.

Inbound servicemembers will receive PIPS literature during their First Start in-processing to the base. They will be instructed to access PIPS from any computer via a secure Web site application using their common access card and pin.

For PCS related questions, call finance at 480-5548. Because of the conversion to PIPS, finance will no longer conduct its PCS in-processing briefings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
