Finance customer service office institutes new

The 435th Comptroller Squadron’s Finance Customer Service Office is instituting two customer service initiatives to better serve Team Ramstein.

The first is a virtual finance system called Comptroller Assisted Self-Help forms. CASH forms are an automated tool that streamlines completing finance documents such as travel vouchers, family separation forms and lost receipt forms.

CASH forms utilize a guided approach (similar to TurboTax) to complete military and travel pay documents resulting in a legible and accurate document ready for signature.

CASH forms are available now at https://ice.usafe.af.mil/sites/435ABW/CPTS/fso/default.aspx. Completed forms can be dropped off at finance or preferably e-mailed to 435cpts.

For employees who do not have access to a computer in their duty section, the finance lobby has CASH forms available on self-help computers.
The second initiative the customer service office is instituting is customer service appointments. Currently, customers wait approximately 15 minutes before being helped by a finance technician.

Beginning Thursday, there will be no wait time for those who make an appointment. Every Thursday, the finance customer service lobby will be closed to walk-in customers so that 42 appointments can be made available – six per hour between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Appointments will eliminate the 15 minute wait time and allow customers to quickly get the help they need.  Appointment can be scheduled online at https://ice.usafe.af.mil/sites/435ABW/CPTS/fso/default.aspx.
