Maintain professional Air Force relationships

As members of the best Air Force in the world, it is essential that all Air Force members conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. AFI 36-2909, Professional and Unprofessional Relationships, establishes guidelines for maintaining professional relationships between Air Force members, as well as between Air Force members and members of other uniformed services, civilian employees of the Department of Defense, or government contractor employees.

We must remember that circumstances may change which may require a change in a personal relationship (i.e. promotions or organizational restructuring). When these changes occur, we must adjust accordingly and remember that the needs of the Air Force will outweigh personal desires in order to maintain good order and discipline.
