Read the ‘Little Brown Book’ today

When was the last time you read AFI 36-2618?  If you don’t know what that is, then it’s probably been too long. Sometimes called “The Little Brown Book,” it’s the AFI that defines the enlisted force structure. Every enlisted member of the Air Force should know it inside and out. Officers who supervise or work with enlisted personnel should also be familiar with it.  It covers general and specific responsibilities for the Airman, NCO and SNCO tiers of the enlisted force. Not only does it help you know what you need to do, but it’s also a great tool for supervisors. “The Little Brown Book” – read it today.
