Four 7th CSC units change command

New leaders assumed command of four 7th Civil Support Command and 21st Theater Sustainment Command units during separate ceremonies in January.
Col. Jenifer Hug assumed command of the 196th Medical Support Unit from Col. Sandra Alvey, Jan. 13. Hug was commissioned into the U.S. Army Reserve in September 1990, after earning a pharmacy degree from the University of Montana-Missoula.

Some of her past assignments include working as a pharmacy/medical logistics officer, Joint Task Force Timberwolf in Jutiapa, Guatemala, and as assistant director of pharmacy, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. She is currently the supervisor of the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy at LRMC in her civilian job.

Lt. Col. W. Fitzgerald Campbell assumed command of the 7th Warrior Training Brigade from Col. Christine Fiala, Jan. 6. Campbell served as the chief of training for the 7th CSC, prior to taking command of the 7th WTB.

The new 1172nd Movement Control Team’s commander is 1st Lt. Matthew Curcio who took the reins from Capt. Daniel Miller, in a ceremony also held Jan. 6. The 1172nd MCT is based at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany.

Capt. Christa Clemons is the new commander of the 793rd Movement Control Team after assuming command from Capt. Stephanie Mann on Jan. 23. Mann and the Soldiers of the 793rd MCT just returned from a nine-month deployment to Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan, Jan. 16.

Mann will now move to Texas to join her husband, who is in the Air Force and preparing for his upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.
“Never forget what you represent when you wear this uniform. Always wear it proudly,” said Mann in her final remarks.
