***image1***For the second year the German-American Community Office invited
Americans to perform at the Christmas market in Kaiserslautern.

The Ramstein American Middle School Band opened the event Dec. 1 and
were followed by the Ramstein American High School Royal Dancers and
the RAHS Cheerleaders.

“It’s the second time we participated at this GACO event,” said Elaine
Lindo, a special education teacher, who coaches the Royal Dancers. “We
enjoy performing for the German community.”

Other performers were the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Five Star Brass
Quintet, soloist Penny Moon, the Sweet Adelines and the acoustic
Christian rock band Audience of One. Dancers on stage were TapExpress,
the Action Fraction Square Dance Club and the salsa dance group Rueda
del Subsuelo. The Vogelweh Gospel Choir performed last. “They once
again swept along the audience and brought across the Christmas
spirit,” said Sissi Kösling form the GACO.
