Today’s military has a high operations tempo that includes frequent deployments, long hours at work and many sacrifices made by servicemembers, spouses and dependents. I have deployed on multiple occasions and understand how challenging these times can be on everyone. One of my top priorities is to ensure that our military members and their families have the support and care they require.
I encourage you to take advantage of this program, which utilizes licensed clinicians with masters’ degrees and at least five years of experience in social work, counseling or related clinical discipline. The life consultants are not military members; however, they are experienced in family matters, relationships, raising children, substance abuse, goodbyes and homecomings. Services offered include workshops, group discussions, personal consultations, activities and organization tips.
This service is free and anonymous; with the exception of “duty to warn” cases and Personnel Reliability Program disqualifiers. And the service is available to all service members, spouses, family members, children and staff members.
Regardless if it is a holiday, or after hours, the Military & Family Life Consultants are here to support you. Air Force members can schedule an appointment by calling the Ramstein MFLC at 0152-242-11233, and Army members can call 0170-369-3292 or 0175-792-3332. Navy and Marine members can call either of the two centers.
