Ramstein 74, Wiesbaden 67
The Ramstein Royals varsity basketball team beat the Weisbaden varsity basketball team 74-67 in a closely played game Jan. 14. Good foul shooting in the closing minutes by Junior Guard Allen Weaver sealed the win for Ramstein.
Ramstein 79, SHAPE 40
The Ramstein Royals varsity basketball team beat SHAPE, Belgium 79-40 Saturday. The Royals raced for many fastbreak baskets. Junior Alex Chebaro led the team in scoring with 16 points followed by Allen Weaver with 14 and Seniors Alex Tremble and Eric Murray with 10 points each.
Girl’s Basketball
Ramstein 57, Wiesbaden 41
The Ramstein Royals Varsity Girl’s basketball team beat Wiesbaden 57-41 Friday.
Krissy Grosselin led the team with 24 points and 6 assists. Corrine Lauture followed with 12 points and Heather Steele added 9 points. Leading rebounders were Kayleen Bannister with 10, followed by Heather Steele with 9. Kendra Lenoir led the game with 6 steals.
Ramstein 53, SHAPE 15
The Ramstein Royal Varsity girl’s basketball team dominated SHAPE, Belgium 53 to 15 Saturday.
Krissy Grosselin matched SHAPE’s total points by scoring 15. Kayleen Bannister scored 12 and Heather Steele added eight points.
Steele, Bannister and Kendra Lenior all had six rebounds a piece to lead Ramstein.
Rebecca Tenuta totaled 6 steals in ther game.

Kaiserslautern American High School Basketball team’s travel to Mannheim to play a conference game.
Ramstein wrestling stays at home Saturday to square off with London Central, Alconbury, Baumholder and Giessen.
