The Ramstein Lady Royals swept a double-header at Heidelberg Saturday. The Lady Royals made a statement with a 14-3 win in game one. Pitcher Jessica Apodaca, threw seven strong innings and Heather Steele and Alex Brokaw each went 3-5 in the game. Ramstein took game two on the strong play of Victoria Apodaca. She pitched six strong innings and also went 2-3 from the plate.

K-Town 16, Hanau 0
K-Town 14, Hanau 2
The Kaiserslautern Lady Raiders won both games of a double header at Hanau Saturday. The Lady Raiders took the first game 16-0. Pitcher Kili Smith shut out Hanau and struck out six in the process. Shortstop Adriana Metoyer added a home run in the victory. Game two was another blowout. Christine Jensen pitched strong with seven strikeouts and Emily Badstibner went 4-4 from the plate.

Boys’ soccer
Ramstein 6, ISB 4
The Ramstein Royals improved their conference record to 2-1 with their win over the International School of Brussels Saturday. Ramstein was led by Marcus Rodriguez, who scored a hat trick, and Jason Pollock, who added two more.

Girls’ soccer
Ramstein 3, ISB 0
The Lady Royals shutout the International School of Brussles in a road game Saturday. Ramstein played strong defense and backup goalie Jennie Rindfleish pitched a shutout in net. Mari Shakir scored two goals for Ramstein.

Track and Field
The following Ramstein males finished first in their track events. James Hamlett (400 and 800 meter), Parker Cowles (1,500 and 3,000 meter), Marquiston Showers (long jump and high jump), Greg Anderson (discus) and Willie Pierce (shotput).

First place females from Ramstein were Lorraine Tucker (1,500 and 3,000 meter), Krissy Grosselin (800 meter and long jump), Ladashia McIntosh (100 and 300 meter hurdles) and Nielsen Rams (triple jump).
The following Kaiserslautern males finished first in their events. Gregory Thompson (300 meter hurdles, long jump and triple jump) and Julian Smalls (high jump).

First place Kaiserslautern females were Lynnsy Hyter (long jump) and Tasha Warner (triple jump).
