Lakenheath 17, Kaiserslautern 14
K-Town started strong and jumped to a 14-0 lead, only to have the
Lancers come back and win it 17-14 for their first victory of the
season. This left K-Town, Lakenheath, and Würzburg in a three-way
tie. Based on point differentials between the three teams,
Kaiserslautern advances to the playoffs where they will meet Ramstein
Saturday.

Cross Country
Boys – The
Ramstein Raiders had their best outing of the year, placing second
behind Wiesbaden, but ahead of Wurzburg, Hoenfels, Vilseck and
Bamburg. Raiders runner Tucker Johnson ran a personal best of 17:09 and
placed first.
 
Girls
Kaiserslautern continued their dominance by destroying the field
at Wurzburg. K-Town ladies finished with 18 points, second was
Würzburg with 61 points. The three amigos finished 1, 2, and 3 again
with all three breaking the course record, again. Top runners
were Joy Hruska (19:07), Colleen Smith, Anna Hruska, and
Olyvia Smith all from K-Town. 

Volleyball
Heidelberg 4, Ramstein 1 (24-26, 26-24, 26-18, 26-19)
Ramstein outside hitter Regina Fleming had eight kills, middle hitter
Kaylen Bannister recorded 6 kills, 3 blocks; Tyler Fleenor recorded 6
kills, 4 blocks and 9 service aces; Junior setter Jayci Cachuela had 13
setting assists for points.
 
Ramstein 3, Mannheim 0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-20)
Outside sophomore hitter Lisa Domingo cranked in 5 kills and 15 digs
and Rachel Rust recorded 4 kills and 4 service aces; Regina Fleming had
8 kills, 12 digs and setter Jayci Cachuela had 14 setting assists for
points.
