High schools kick off hoops season

Wiesbaden 60, Ramstein(boys) 69
The Ramstein Royals boys varsity basketball team fell a little short in
their season opener at Wiesbaden. The Royals trailed 41-30 at halftime
and could never recover.

Allen Weaver led the offensive attack for Ramstein by netting 33 points and Ben Barnett chipped with 10 points of his own.

The Ramstein Lady Royals varsity basketball team started their season off on the right foot by winning in Wiesbaden Saturday.
The Lady Royals were led on offense by Sierra Stayberg, Kendra Lenoir
and Kaylen Bannister, who scored 10, 9 and 7 points respectively.
The boards were dominated by the trio of Kaylen Bannister, Kendra Lenior and Crystal Richardson, who combined for 33 rebounds.

K-Town(girls) 44, ISB 38

K-Town(girls) 43, ISB 30
The Kaiserslautern Lady Raiders began their season with two victories
over the International School Brussels Dec. 2 and Saturday.
The first game was dominated by K-Town’s Kamiko Williams, who recored 22 points, eight boards and four steals.
Lynndsey Hyter was K-Town’s star Saturday as she dropped 21 points.
