Right in time for Easter, more than 100 artisans from all over Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg will present their diversity of ceramic works from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the 17th annual Homburg Ceramics Market in the center of Homburg. Both Saarpfalz-Touristik and Homburg City Marketing organizers hope to lure thousands of visitors from the whole region.

Artisans will display a wide spectrum of ceramics: ceramics for every day living, garden objects and fine arts. Items include jewelery made from different clay materials, art sculptures, garden tables in mosaic patterns and more. Visitors will also find Easter decorations made of ceramics.

The European Culture Park in Bliesbruck-Reinheim will show off various archaeological findings. Children will also have the opportunity to make pottery.

Visitors of the ceramics market might be interested in getting to know other historical sights of Homburg such as the Schlossberg Caves and the Roman Museum.

Homburg stores will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The parking garage in the center of town will be open on both days. For more information, visit www.saarpfalz-touristik.de.
