How Bazaar

***image1***The Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club is hosting the 43rd annual Ramstein Welfare Bazaar now through Sunday.  Hop in your car and follow the event signs to the flight line for the best shopping this side of the Alps.  Do some early Christmas shopping, have a few schwenk steaks or heck, even treat yourself to that special piece of jewelry.  And remember, all this shopping benefits the KMC.  So when hubby asks what all the bags are, you can say with pride, “I have been supporting our community, dear.”

Emmy Marchioni, this year’s chairwoman, invites everyone out to support the KMC.  She sat down and chatted with the KA a bit before the big event:

If you could possess any superpower, what would it be?
The power to control the exchange rate

What is your favorite quotation?
“You had me at Hello!”

How do you relieve stress?
I take a break from the Bazaar and watch historical documentaries

Where do you most often find yourself singing?
In the car

What is the most bizarre item you’ve seen at the bazaar?

What’s your favorite item that you’ve purchased at the bazaar?

Monies raised go to KMC schools, the base and community organizations, scholarships, scouting and youth programs and a few other welfare grants

Do you get preferred parking for your title?
I get a spot in the committee parking area … that’s about it

What is the bazaar hungry for?
Great weather and lots of shoppers!

If you were trapped on a desert island which item from the bazaar would you want with you?
