World’s biggest wine fest continues
The Wurstmarkt, the world’s biggest wine fest, continues today through Monday in Bad Duerkheim. There are more than 300 vendors and ride owners, and 36 little wine tents. The 33rd Donnersberg Mineral and Fossil Fair takes place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Imsbach community hall (Gemeindehalle). More than 70 exhibitors display impressive finds from the region and minerals and fossils from all over the world. Admission fee is €1.50 for adults and €0.50 for children.
