RAMS celebrates teen read week
Students at Ramstein American Middle School participated in Teen Read Week Oct. 15 to 19. Teen Read Week is an annual literacy event of the Young Adult Library Services Association, a division of the American Library Association. It is geared toward teens and began in 1998. The emphasis is on encouraging teens to regularly read books just for fun so that recreational reading becomes a habit. Students could participate in two school-wide contests or any of the activities that were held during lunch each day in the school information center.
