Kaiserslautern High School’s student government organization, in conjunction with other school clubs, hosted a benefit week April 27 to May 1 to raise awareness and promote good health throughout the school and the community.

Each day, they supported a different organization; they raised money by selling food during lunch, taking donations and selling memorabilia. During the week, the organization helped raise money for cancer awareness, autism awareness, global poverty, diabetes awareness and Product (Red), which is a business model created to raise awareness for the Global Fund. The students and staff wore red and all proceeds from that day went to the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculoses and Malaria.

Also hosting the benefit week were the National Honor Society, Model United Nations, Student 2 Student and Future Business Leaders of America.
