Jan. 4
5:49 a.m.: An assault was reported in Kaiserslautern after two Airmen were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

12:36 p.m.: A major traffic accident with no injuries was reported after an Airman lost control of his vehicle due to excessive speed for road conditions.

7:47 p.m.: A minor traffic accident/fleeing the scene was reported in Kaiserslautern after a female operating a civilian’s vehicle struck a local national’s vehicle while changing lanes and then left the scene without exchanging proper information.


Jan. 5

9:09 a.m.: A major traffic accident with injuries was reported in Altenkirchen after a local national struck an Airman’s vehicle.

11:09 p.m.: A domestic assault and drunk and disorderly was reported on Vogelweh Family Housing. A civilian and foreign national were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical after the civilian grabbed the foreign national’s hair and attempted to strike her.

Jan. 6
3:43 p.m.: Larceny of government property was reported at the Theater Logistics Support Center after an unknown person by unknown means unlawfully entered a conex and removed a camouflage netting and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear protective gear. 
 
Jan. 7
2:15 a.m.: A concealed weapon was reported in Kaiserslautern. A local national witnessed a Soldier place a bag at the entrance of a building. Polizei inspected the bag and found a 9 mm.

2:15 a.m.: A simple assault was reported in Kaiserslautern after an Airman struck a local national when she was not responsive to his verbal advancements.

11:29 a.m.: Damage to private property was reported on Kleber Kaserne after an unknown person by unknown means scratched and dented a vehicle and shattered the passenger’s side window.

12:52 p.m.: A major traffic accident and fleeing the scene was reported on Rhine Ordnance Barracks after a Soldier was navigating around a sharp curb, struck a cement pillar and fled the scene of the accident.

Jan. 8
12:08 a.m.: A drunken driver was reported in Kaiserslautern. Polizei stopped an Airman due to excessive speed and smelled alcohol.

1:40 a.m.: A Soldier and an Airman were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when the Airman struck the Soldier.

4:13 a.m.: A drunken driver was reported in Kaiserslautern. Polizei observed a civilian operating her vehicle in an erratic manner and upon contact, they smelled alcohol.

4:22 a.m.: A drunken driver was reported at the shoppette on Pulaski Barracks. A Soldier failed to stop at a posted stop sign. Upon contact, Polizei detected a strong odor of alcohol.

6:43 a.m.: A drunken driver was reported in Kaiserslautern. Polizei initiated a routine traffic stop and upon contact, they determined the Soldier was possibly under the influence.

9:39 p.m.: A domestic assault was reported in Gerhardsbrunn after an Airman and his wife were play fighting and he struck her with an open hand, breaking her nose.

4:15 a.m.: An assault was reported in Kaiserslautern after an Airman struck a Soldier with a closed fist and slapped a local national with an open hand.

6:37 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported at Vogelweh Family Housing. A Soldier and a family member were involved in a verbal altercation because she woke him to take care of a teething child.

Jan. 10
7:09 a.m.: A major traffic accident with no injuries was reported in Kaiserslautern after an Airman drove into a ditch while driving too fast for weather and road conditions.
