Jan. 18
8:48 a.m.: Landstuhl Polizei listed a vehicle as being involved in a failure to render payment at a gas station in  Ramstein-Miesenbach.

3:51 p.m.: A civilian reported a break-in and larceny of private property. Investigation revealed someone entered his home and took one gold ring with diamonds. 

Jan. 19
 7:29 a.m.: An Airman reported a major traffic accident. Investigation revealed the two individuals involved were traveling northbound. When the first driver stopped due to traffic, the second driver struck his vehicle.

2:46 p.m.: A Soldier was flagged in the Installation Access Control
System for expired registration. The Soldier was operating his vehicle on expired registration and canceled insurance.

Jan. 21
2:59 a.m.: A walking patrol reported an assault after two individuals were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when one struck the other in the face with a closed fist.

11:20 a.m.: An assault was reported. Investigation revealed one victim was sitting next to the subject in his vehicle when the subject made multiple inappropriate comments and unwanted contact by placing his hand on the victim’s knee. The subject then struck the victim’s forehead with an open hand.

12:50 p.m.: Ramstein Legal e-mailed the 569th U.S. Forces Police Squadron Reports and Analysis to report a drunken driver. Investigation revealed Polizei stopped an Airman for a routine traffic stop and upon contact detected the smell of alcohol.  

Jan. 22
2:10 a.m.: Polizei reported an assault after a verbal altercation turned physical. Investigation revealed the Soldier held the victim down and began to bite
her.

10:23 a.m.: A Soldier reported a domestic assault. Investigation revealed the subject and victim were involved in a verbal confrontation that turned physical when the subject struck the victim with a closed fist, causing minor cuts and a bruised lip.

Jan. 23
12:24 p.m.: A family member reported a domestic assault in progress. Investigation revealed the subject and victim were involved in a verbal altercation that turned into a physical confrontation when the subject entered the bedroom and grabbed the victim, causing bruising. A second victim was injured after a glass shattered.

6:30 p.m.: A civilian reported a minor traffic accident. Investigation revealed a motorist was attempting to merge onto autobahn A62, which forced a second motorist to change lanes and a third motorist to hit the guardrail while trying to avoid hitting the second motorist.
