KMC marches to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

More than 350 residents in the KMC participated in the U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration commemorative march Jan. 15 on Vogelweh and Kapaun Air Station. The march was 1.3 miles and is the second for the garrison. The event also featured presentations from the Kaiserslautern High School Drama Club and Step Team and guest speaker Willie Day, USAG Heidelberg Equal Employment Opportunity specialist.
