KMC takes honors

Recently students of Kaiserslautern American High School, Ramstein American High School and Kaiserslautern Middle School went to Morfelden, Germany to participate in the annual Department of Defense Dependent Schools Europe Future Business Leaders of America Spring Conference.
The FBLA is a non-profit association of students dedicated to bringing business and education together through innovative leadership and career development programs.
The KMC secondary students took 20 awards against 16 other schools.
KAHS student Allison Ambrose took 1st place in Marketing while Tamiya Wright and Tiffany Punla from Kaiserslautern Middle School took top honors in Business Graphics.
RAHS students Allison Graves, Andrew Kleiser, and Kristina Smith placed first in Public Speaking, Business Procedures, and International Business respectively.
This year more than 100 delegates elected Kristina Smith-President, Katrina Castillo-Secretary, and Amy Williamson-Treasurer, all from RAHS. The event was made possible by donations from the German-American Business Club and student fundraisers.
