Logisticians from across Europe and the U.S. will be converging on the KMC May 1 to 3 to attend a sustainment professional military education gathering in order to share ideas and discuss the future of sustainment and logistics operations.

One of the Army’s senior logisticians will be in attendance for the PME to discuss logistics and sustainment issues.

The European Sustainment Ball, which will take place at 5:30 p.m. May 1 at the Ramstein Officers’ Club, is an opportunity for members of the KMC and visiting sustainment professionals to enjoy music, food and
dancing.

“The European Sustainment Ball is a military time-honored tradition,” said Maj. Amelia Schulz, a future operations planner with the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. “(It) allows for Soldiers, civilians, family members and friends to come together to share experiences and to celebrate the initiatives of our logisticians and recognize their efforts.”

All Soldiers, family members and Department of the Army civilians are invited to attend the ball; however, they are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible, as they are first-come-first-serve.

Those who wish to attend the ball should reserve their tickets no later than April 10.
