LRMC welcomes first baby of 2008

***image1***Jason Patrick Woodard, a 7-pound, 3-ounce baby boy was born to Capt.
Doug Woodard, and wife, Kristen, Jan. 1 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. He was the first baby born in 2008 at Landstuhl, the largest military hospital outside North America.

Jason Patrick’s mother is a Department of Defense Dependents Schools teacher and Captain Woodard works in the U.S. Air Forces in Europe’s intelligence section. Mrs. Woodard arrived at LRMC around 7 p.m. on the first day of the new year and had delivered the baby after less than an hour and a half of labor. A USO gift basket was one of a handful of items gifted to the child for being the first born at the hospital.
Jason Patrick Woodard measured 19.6 inches and is the couple’s first child.
