The German Shepherd Dog Club Kaisers-lautern will offer a night hike for dogs and owners at 6 p.m. Saturday at their clubhouse, Kniebrech 1 in Kaiserslautern. On the trail, hikers and dogs will meet numerous scary figures such as monsters and witches. Dog owners will see how their pets react. Shabach International Outreach Ministry will sponsor a benefit concert, “Harvest of Praise,” at 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Landstuhl Stadthalle. Entry fee is donations of coffee, cans of food, baby items. The Rheinland Pfalz International Choir has begun a drive to bring 15 new singers into the choir, both men and women, by the end of September. The choir will perform the Brahms Requiem Nov. 26 in the Fruchthalle, a Choralforum Concert Dec. 3 in the Marienkirche, and the USAFE Band Christmas Concert Dec. 8 in the Fruchthalle.
